CENTRAL. Hong Kong's most popular entertainment district. Most of the action is centered around the rectangle formed by the L-shaped Lan Kwai Fong and the parallel D'Aguilar Street, but the next streets out (Wyndham and Wellington) are usually considered to be part of the district as well. There are about 60 bars, pubs, clubs and restaurants in a four-block area ­ needless to say the atmosphere is lively, especially at night! Whether you're a quiet-pint-at-the-pub type or a dance-into-the-wee-hours party animal, Lan Kwai Fong has something for you. Be aware that virtually every business is packed and the streets are wall-to-wall people on the weekends ­ great fun for some, dreadful for others.
